Tidal Interiors is a distinguished interior design firm that specializes in exquisite, tailor-made homes that tastefully embody the lives of our clients. Our projects range from custom homes to large-scale renovations and additions. We offer interior architectural design from initial construction planning through to furnishings and decor. Our collaborative, experienced team works together to solve design challenges, drawing upon our classic training and years of experience in the industry. Although the aesthetic of each project varies to fit to the tastes and styles of our clients, our designs embrace an abundance of light, clean lines, and a sophisticated sense of freshness and ease.

OUR TEAM
RHIANNA JONES +
Rhianna Jones has been practicing interior design for over 20 years with experience in commercial, retail, hospitality and high-end residential design In 2017, Rhianna founded Tidal Interiors with the goal of blending her clients’ vision and experiences into personalized spaces that are fresh and authentic.
Rhianna’s coastal roots began in West Palm Beach, Florida. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design through the Department of Interior Architecture and Design at Florida State University, a program consistently ranked in the Top 10 nationally. Upon graduation, she looked west and settled in beautiful San Diego, California.
With a strong belief that well-designed homes should be loved and lived in, Rhianna works to create iconic designs inspired by coastlines from around the world. Her projects strike a balance between comfortability and modernity while maintaining roots in traditional design.
When not plugging away on a project, Rhianna can usually be found on a beach with her husband, daughters and standard poodle, Ella.

Growing up in the surf town of San Clemente, Kayla is a SoCal beach girl through and through. Her love for design began in early childhood as she tagged along to client meetings with her mom, also an interior designer. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Kayla was destined to be an interior designer.
Trading the warm sand for a few years of mountain life, Kayla received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Colorado. Post graduation, she immersed herself in event design, where she excelled at crafting captivating experiences and environments. Inspired by her ability to create meaningful spaces, Kayla now channels her creativity toward fashioning modern interiors guided by her coastal roots. She greatly enjoys the design process and adores working closely with her clients to achieve their dream home.
When Kayla isn't conceptualizing new designs, selecting fabrics or materials, you'll likely find her and her husband at the beach, playing with their cocker spaniel, Theo, or discovering the latest culinary restaurants and activities San Diego has to offer.
KAYLA Colombatto

Ashley grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and arrived in San Diego to attend college. At San Diego State she studied Public Relations, but eventually found her fit in law – attending the University of San Diego for paralegal studies. After over 12 years in the legal field, during which she served as the administrator and managing paralegal of a downtown law firm, she resigned to focus on her family.
Ashley brings her prior expertise in running a boutique business to Tidal Interiors, allowing the creatives to focus on designing exceptional spaces for our clients while she manages the day-to-day behind the scenes.
When she is not in the studio coordinating, problem-solving or organizing, Ashley enjoys the many benefits of an outdoor lifestyle that San Diego has to offer with her husband and daughter.
ASHLEY CHAPMAN
STUDIO director
Jamie was born in Southern California where her interest in design began in early childhood. Growing up in Oceanside, she would space plan her “dream” beach homes for fun. After receiving her B.F.A. in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego, she began her career collaborating with design teams and translating visions into blueprints and scaled drawings. She honed her craft using Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) to articulate the vision of every project she touched. Establishing her passion for aesthetics and communicating designs for the field, Jamie felt a pull towards new builds, re-builds, and renovation projects.
Moving up to the central coast, she became an independent consultant and project manager specializing in residential design and construction. Most recently her talents have found their way back to the shores of San Diego, as an essential part of the Tidal Interiors team.
When she is not working, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, paddle boarding, and painting.
